My city of birth, Istanbul, has an impact on my way of making art. It's diverse culture, rich architecture, and history has fascinated me since I was a child. I started to look at things through lenses in my early teenage years and I went on to cinematography. After graduation, I traveled to United States to experience different cultures and I ended up studying Photography and Media in the States. For me, "life" is art itself, and I like to share my observations about 'being' in several expressive art forms. that form can be a story or a drawing; sometimes in an experimental video or conceptual photographs. I continue to combine my interest in psychology, philosophy, mythology, and nature in my mixed media art works.
