By the time I reached high school, I knew it would be a career. I put myself through college working as a photographer for a local daily newspaper and left college to become a staff photographer and a photo editor with the Associated Press. After 15 years at AP covering Olympics, Super Bowls, World Series, earthquakes, wars, and various other major events around the world -- and a couple of careers in between -- I can once again truly enjoy the artistic pleasure of photography.
