<p><strong>El Caminito del Rey</strong> te permitirá atravesar el <strong>Desfiladero de los Gaitanes</strong> por pasarelas adosadas a la roca a 100 metros del suelo, descubriendo paisajes recónditos y sensaciones vertiginosas.<br>A principios del siglo XX, se aprovecha el desnivel existente entre la entrada y salida del Desfiladero para producir electricidad. Un precario camino adosado a la roca ayudaba en las tareas de mantenimiento del canal de agua y el acceso de los trabajadores.<br>En 1953, recibe su nombre de el <strong>Caminito del Rey</strong>, en memoria de la visita del <strong>Rey Alfonso XIII</strong> al Pantano del Chorro en 1921.<br>Por su grave deterioro, en el año 2000 se prohíbe la entrada al Caminito por motivos de seguridad. En 2015, el Caminito del Rey, ya restaurado, vuelve a estar abierto al público.</p>
