Old Bastard's Cookbook
Meta Description
The “Old Bastard’s Cookbook IV” contains among other tasteful delights, my favorite German recipes, many of which have been passed down through the Becker family. These family favorites include Strudels, Kekla, Kneffla, Steamed Dumplings, and Kuchen.
As an educational to your gastronomical intake, I have also included many of my famous recipes from around the world, including Chicken Kiev, Risotto, Scotch Broth, and Chicken Curry.
Every day, good old Canadian meals include, Beer Can Chicken, Truck Stop Meatloaf, Spicy Pork Breakfast Paddies, Toutons, and Spam Supreme. I find it interesting that the longer Trudeau is the leader of his Communist Country of Canada, the more popular Spam has become.
This version of the cookbook has a greatly expanded Dessert section. A lot of this section is dedicated to my favorite and abundant free fruit, Rhubarb. A Preserves and Sausage section has also been added.
Finally, I end this cookbook of gourmet delights with my TOP SECRET recipes for Brad’s Cajun Spice Rub, Brad’s BBQ Chicken Rub, Brad’s Hamburger Sauce, and Brad’s Fried Chicken Coating.
This book can be purchased at my old Web Site “www.bbdsedson.com”
I am known as the “Old Bastard”, by my friends and enemies alike. However, some people just call me Brad, unless they are pissed off at me or I owe them money, then my handle becomes Bradley David Becker. The “Old Bastard” bit comes from the label I put on my world-famous home-made wine, which contains a picture of me in a black leather jacket wearing an old green Austrian hat, standing on top of some mountain in Germany, looking disgusted.
I was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, which is a community that has a very strong German and Russian heritage, like me. I have been a Mechanic, School Teacher, Computer Technician, Programmer, and Business man. I am now retired and living in Edson, Alberta. My hobbies include, Cooking, Masonry, Ham Radio “VE6RNC”, and Pistol Shooting and Collecting.
