It is as a result of research that his protocol allowed him to survive for eleven years past prognosis. It was Roger's fondest hope to help others survive as well by continuing to support the National Brain Tumor Foundation's efforts via the Angel Adventure, an annual event held in the San Francisco Bay Area. The organization has since merged with another, becoming the National Brain Tumor Society, and the event is now known as the Northern California Brain Tumor Walk. We, his family, continue in his memory as Team Jolly Rogers, and 2026 will be our thirty-first year of participation in this fundraising effort.
