Pierluigi Abbondanza Illustrator

Pierluigi Abbondanza is an Italian artist. His works have been published by Blizzard Entertainment, Zenescope, Infected by Art, Obscura Comics, Independent Legions, Watson Edizioni, Ballistic Publishing, Applibot, Imagine FX, The Guide Artists, Fantasy Reports and other artbooks, as well as on books and cd covers. In 2018 he started teaching digital painting and illustration classes in Cesena. In 2019 he started a “one on one” online mentorship program, to help aspiring artists achieving their artistic goals.​ "As long as I can remember, I've always been captivated by the power of a good visual representation, independently if it was a photo, a painting or a graphic design; in fact when I was a child, I often went to the newsstand with my mom, and my attention was always caught by strong magazines and comic book cover images. I soon felt the need to start representing what was in my head with any media I had around. I started with pencils and later switched to acrylics and oils, until I discovered digital painting software in 2006, which suddenly became my favourite media to create art. I love painting people portraits, and enjoy creating fantasy, horror and erotic illustrations. Many years have passed since my first pencil mark on paper but I still love to create images I would like to look at. I hope you'll like them too."
